This is a 2-hour workshop aimed at clinical trial programmers who are interested in how a modern SCE can avoid the ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach of the past and empower delivery teams to innovate while also maintaining full GxP compliance.
During the hands-on workshop, participants will be led through clinical trial scenarios exploring how the Domino SCE can be used to empower teams and solve day-to-day inefficiencies in data management, statistical analysis and regulatory reporting.

Stuart Malcolm, Head of Standards, Efficiency and Automation at Veramed
Stuart Malcolm is Head of Standards, Efficiency and Automation at Veramed where he is responsible for the delivery of software platforms, tools, and techniques to optimise the delivery of clinical trial analysis projects.
Stuart has been working in Clinical Trials for 10 years, and prior to that has 15 years’ experience of software development in a range of industries including telecommunications, finance and media.
Stuart is currently the co-chair of the Phuse Emerging Trends and Technologies working group, and has presented papers on standards-based automation at Phuse, PharmaSUG and CDISC Interchange.


Caroline Phares, Global Head of Health and Life Sciences at Domino Data Lab
Caroline Phares leads the Health and Life Sciences strategy for Domino Data Lab. Prior to Domino, she enjoyed 20 years of success at GSK as a business partner and technology leader in designing, delivering, and supporting innovative solutions across R&D. During her time at GSK, she was involved in collaborative efforts with other large pharmaceutical companies and has influenced industry trends in technology solutions to common problems and use cases. She is driven to pursue and implement positive, transformational change through scientific and technological progress, and enjoys applying modern tools and methodologies to problems which may have once seemed unsolvable.
